Preview to The Butterfly Generator

On 13 January 2012 at 19.30 in Osage Kwun Tong, artist Tintin Wulia will give a talk on her new interactive installation, titled “The Butterfly Generator”. The networked installation resulted from her residency project initiated at The Global Contemporary exhibition in ZKM, Germany and completed in partnership with Osage Art Foundation, Hong Kong.

In her presentation, she will contextualize this cross-border project within her body of work on border and chance, which she has been developing for several years.

As part of the talk, Jacob Birken from ZKM, co-curator of The Global Contemporary exhibition, and representative of Osage Art Foundation, will also present the background of this international co-production. The work is available to public until 5 February 2012.
